Biphenylether, which is a colorless crystal at room temperature, has the aroma of geranium oil, is insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ether, acetic acid, benzene and other organic solvents, the crystallization point is 26.7℃, the boiling point is 259℃, the flash point is 115℃, and the relative density is 1.086 (20℃).
Main purpose
It is mainly used as a thermal oil. The biphenylbiphenylether mixture obtained by mixing 73.5% of the biphenylether with 26.5% of the biphenylbiphenylether, also known as “Daosheng”, is a good high-temperature organic thermal oil, which is widely used in various industrial sectors.At present, as a working medium for heat transfer and heat storage with good performance in CSP solar energy, it has become an important guarantee for the CSP power generation industry to achieve long-term stable power generation. It has good thermal stability, oxidation resistance, heat transfer efficiency, etc., and has been trusted by many CSP companies.
Used as a fragrance, diphenylether has the aroma of geranium leaves and can be used after proper blending with other substances. It is used in the fragrance ingredients of fragrances, soaps, cosmetics, detergents and other hygiene products.
Organic synthetic raw materials can synthesize high-temperature-resistant polyphenylene ether resins, and they are also important raw materials for the manufacture of rubber, surfactants, flame retardant, foaming agents, etc.
